Natural Hair Care Tips for Braiders

Braids are a go to style for many natural hair wearers. They tend to be easy to care for and gives the wearer a break from styling her natural hair.

Not all braid styles are created equal though. Many women have damaged hair after taking down their braids. The cause may vary, but the damage is often hard to deal with especially if the woman had healthy hair before changing to the protective style.

Helping women maintain their healthy hair even while wearing braids has to be a team effort starting with the one who is braiding the hair. Over the years I’ve noticed in my city, numerous clients have called on my help to care for their hair after it has been damaged from improper care or braids that were too harsh.

I am hosting a workshop to show braid stylists how important it is to truly care for the client’s real hair before installing extensions or adding braids. Traction alopecia is on the rise and education is a must.

If you specialize in braiding hair, don’t miss out on this workshop specifically for braid stylists.
